Maria Camila Pulido

Maria Camila Pulido is the founder of Target Translations & Interpretations, a federally certified Women-owned Small Business, and a Florida Minority Business Enterprise. Ms. Pulido is a passionate advocate for language access in the healthcare and legal systems in the United States of America.

Ms. Pulido was born in Bogotá, Colombia has she attended the Universidad Nacional de Colombia where she studied Physical Therapy. She also holds a Biology degree from UCF. Ms. Pulido is certified by the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters as well as the Board of Court Interpreter Certification in Florida.

As the Director of Operations for Target Translations & Interpretations, Ms. Pulido has managed interpreters and translators in a myriad of languages for wire-tap transcription and translations, jury trials, depositions, jail interviews and other instances in the legal field. As a team leader, Ms. Pulido has been responsible for the management of simultaneous interpretation teams participating in international conferences in the United States of America.

Maria Ximena Pineda

María Ximena Pineda

María Ximena Pineda is a Colombian writer with a major in Literature and a minor in Arts from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. She moved to Chicago to pursue an MFA in Screenwriting at DePaul University. María Ximena has written two Soap Operas that were aired in more than 10 countries including the U.S. She also worked as a columnist for the Colombian Magazine “Cartel Urbano” for almost 4 years. Miss Pineda has published several chronicles in different Colombian newspapers and publications including “El Tiempo” and “El Espectador”; the two largest and most important newspapers in Colombia. Throughout her career as a professional writer and journalist, she has worked as a translator for both fiction and non-fiction content.

We will to lead the way to achieve language access for individuals and organizations across the world by strengthening our leadership role within professional organizations such as ATA, NAJIT, CCHI, IMIA and AIIC, while emphasizing the importance of quality training and education for translators and interpreters. Thus, Target Translations & Interpretations shall maintain open lines of communication with the different end users and stake-holders about the value of the credentials and professionalism of our team members.
